i just painted my
power mirrors (from a '89 van, which were black) to the
dove blue to match my 84 van.
simple.
how, you ask?
go to vw dealer and buy a few cans of touch up spray paint that
coorespond to
your van's color, or black (i use rustoleum or krylon satin black, works
great on all vanagon plastic)
I've never seen any kind of spray paint to match a manufacturer's paint
at *any* dealer. Does VW really sell such stuff? If so, that
would be great. Do they still carry that Neanderthal Green that was
offered in the early eighties, in celebration of France's discovery of
the cave drawings showing some guy with a fig leaf and what had to be
some sort of primeval diesel engine?
