this is not a "floormat" that goes over your carpet,  this is the OEM VW
Vanagon front floor covering, in rubber, that replaces the carpet.   imagine
your front carpet, and walkthru section carpet, but in rubber. thats what
this is.  molded to fit the contours of the front floor.  this is a rare
item, found only on some early vanagon transporters, and on the '90-'91
non-GL vanagons.   its cut for a manual transmission vanagon, but will fit an
auto if you trim it (cringe! ;<) but thats up to you..   it is in EXCELLENT
