Naysayers, start laughing now.
Believers, this is my idea.
Let's make an e-mail list of people interested in electronic rust
protection. We get 10 - 20 people on the list, then draw one person's
name.
We each send $5 - $10 bucks to that person. They buy the $99
jcwhitney Electro-Shield unit.
They hook it to a shiny new Campbell's Soup can outdoors in
their back yard (or a 12 foot piece of new iron rebar from Home Depot
- to simulate the length of an auto). Plug the unit into a 12 volt
car battery. We wait a couple weeks.
A second can (or rebar) should be placed nearby for a
"controlled" study.
Probably should run the lawn sprinkler daily to speed things up.
The list-serve member reports back to us!
If it works, we flood jcwhitney with orders, and start opening
our franchises. (And accept most HUMBLING
APOLOGIES from the Naysayers).
If it doesn't work, we sell the sucker on e-bay, probably for more
than jcwhitney gets for them new*. We eat
MAJOR CROW.
Is this a plan, or what?! Your comments are most welcome.

P.S. *We can probably sell the used unit to the same person who buys
this camper on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=594039241&r=0&t=0 (Caution: clicking this link may cause you to blow
