025198461A Some nondealer vendors use this part =
number,
but doesn't indicate which size.
(I think one is 1/1000 =
and the
other is 1/4000)
According to Bentley, page 13.53
either one, =
blue or
red, could have been used originally even on
the same
crankshaft.
Apparently one has to match up the red or blue bearings
corresponding
to the dots on the crankshaft next to each main =
bearing.
So
it seems to me, to be sure, one has to buy one blue and one red =
set,
and then
match them.
Does Vanagain and Bus Depot sell both red and blue,
since
your part number ends with the "A", and doesn't specify red or =
blue?
Is
there a way to tell which size main bearing, 001 or 004, =
without
taking the
engine apart first? Any info appreciated.
