If overflow tank empty, then when coolant contracts, = air gets into system. Air in system = blinking red light. Probably = need to drain and refill cooling system. See archives or Bentley for instructions.

Hi all gurus,

I have this '85 van and the coolant = light started to blink. I never use the car really.

The overflow tank is empty, but the = expansion tank is full. It happened after I had the A/C guy out = here. I think there is no connection. What is the remedy or = the solution to this? Anyone?
