It is actually fairly easy to =
remove the
cigarette lighter from the dash.
While it may not be the preferred =
or only way
of doing it, I have found that using a wooden or plastic wedge in a =
prying
motion around the circumference of the socket works well. IIRC, =
the
lighter is only a friction-fit situation, no pesky screws or
other. Limited slack in the wiring, so when it finally gives =
proceed with
caution.
Just be patient and apply the =
prying
evenly.

Subject: Heater/vent =

Hi there... =
My
illuminating lights behind the heater/vent control panel and the =
cigarette
lighter (with green ring) in my 88 Weekender went out for a while. =
With
daylight getting shorter and more driving in the dark, I decide to =
get
those light bulbs replaced, anyone experience in replacing bulb in =
those
two places? Do I have to tear them out of the dashboard? Or let my =
hand
crawling inside the dashboard? Any advice will be appreciated...
Thanks.
