Thanks to the list for 1) Helping =
identify the
problem - yes it is the starter and 2) helping use my multimeter =
correctly. Both
batteries are fine 12 and 14 volts for old and new, =
respectvely.
A few gentle taps of the hammer on =
the starter
and crank, crank, it started fine.
So now the question is - how much =
time does it
take to change a starter and how tough is it? What does a rebuilt =
starter
cost?
