Can someone give me an idea of what = symptoms a clogged catalytic converter might exhibit? My '82 Westy has been = acting hinkey for a while. First, running fine cold, but when it got hot, = seeming to flood out. Replaced the temp sensor, plugs, points, condenser, = and checked all FI systems including spray patterns of injectors. = Nothing seemed to help. Now, it wont stay running at all.

I searched the archives, but nothing = specific seems to jump out at me except a loss of power when engine is hot. = Is it worth me trying to pry the damn thing off to see if it runs without it?
