The only thing I = have seen is some guy who used a small boat boarding ladder (I think that's what = they'r called). When he bought it it had some large hooks that would have been = used to hang it on the side of a boat. there were also a couple of stand-offs = near the bottom to hold the ladder away from the side of the boat. These he had = hack sawed off and ended up with a ladder that could be stowed on top of the = folded bunk. He said he had used it a few times for the kids but had decided it = was more trouble than it was worth. I don't know how much he paid for the = ladder.
I imagine a = ladder such as are seen on some of the fancier RV's would serve the same purpose if = some way was found to make them detatchable.

Subject: Top Bunk Access

Climbing into and out of the top = bunk of a "84 Westfalia can be a challenge at times. Getting myself, grandchildren, and older people in and out of this area takes some = creative thinking. How have people solved this problem? Thanks for your thoughts
