I'm in the process of getting new =
wheels and
tires on my '87 camper. It's a non-synchro and presently wears 205 70 =
r14's on
steel wheels. I am looking at some alloys that are supposedly stock =
synchro
15" with BFG AT He says they have 235 75 r15's on them. First off, =
I didn't
think synchro's had 15" stock alloy wheels I thought they were all =
14"
or 16". Second, I think it was stated recently on the list that in =
1988 VW
lowered the vanagon ride height, would that make these tires too big? =
Just by
guessing does anyone think that on full compression of the suspension =
would
these new tires rub what about while turning? I do a lot of camping in =
the
backwoods and cross creeks, go through fields, mud, etc. I got my camper =
to use
it and I'm tired of tires spinning and having to rock out of being =
temporarily
immobile. I feel that the BFG AT'S would be a great improvement since =
I
have had BFG MT'S on other vehicles and were quite pleased. also the new =
wheels
would be pretty snazzy! Thanks in advance! =
