Hi again,

Any help out there for = a starting problem for my 85 Vanagon.

Symptoms: difficult to = start/ eventually engine "died" while running at about 90kph/55 mph.

Good spark/flooding = out

Spark plugs = fouled

Changed = plugs

Started but seems to = run rich

Will not restart after = turning off UNLESS the fuel pump is disconnected (electrically). Then engine starts immediately;

Will continue to run = when fuel pump is re-connected.

Fuel Pressure Regulator = is new.

Ideas?
