Here's one for the it will work in practice but will it work in theory class.

The circumference of a tire doesn't really change very much whether over inflated or under inflated. In theory, as long as the front and rear tires are of the same circumference they will rotate the same number of times over a given distance, regardless of their relative inflation. So, in theory, tire inflation shouldn't affect the VC in our Syncros. In practice it does. WHY?
