No, I don't mean 100% woollen ones. = I mean electrically heated pads that provide 50 to 80 watts of heat to the = battery, so it doesn't freeze in -30 C weather here in Winnipeg.
 
My FLA(service center) said, = "Nah, just point da van outta da wind, anja be all rite, eh".
 
I think a battery blanket is a good = thing, and will help. Do any other Cannucks (local idiom for Canadian) have any = opinions or experience with this? Non Canadian opinions are grudgingly = (suspiciously) accepted as well. ;)
 
There are two concerns I = have:
 
1. There isn't much free space in = the area for the blanket
 
2. I will have to run an extension = cord through the window, I think. Any solution, even magical, to this?
