When I shift in my 87, the gear shift squeaks = and sounds and feels like metal rubbing = together.  It seems to me = that it is coming from the front.  Do I just need to lube the shift assembly up front?  = I don't know why this would happen all of a sudden.  How = hard is this to do?  Please let me know. Thanks!
