Call your local water or solid waste authority = to see if you are allowed by law to pour it down the drain and/or where = you can drop it off.  The treatment plant may not be able to treat = the waste water for the chemicals in antifreeze.  You might also = consider storing it for the next household hazardous waste disposal day = (if your area has them).  ><><><><><><><&= gt;<><><><><><><><><&= gt;<><><><>J

Subject:       = proper disposal of used = antifreeze

What is the environmentally proper way = to dispose of used antifreeze? In
WA, all the FLAPS are required to = provide for collection of used motor
oil but there is no such provision = for other toxic fluids. The only
option I see is to carry the stuff in = the house and pour it down the
drain. That way, it gets treated by = the sewage plant and doesn't go
directly into the local river, lake, = ocean, etc. Is there a better
solution?
