I'm very close to commiting to buy a = '85 Westy GL (1.9 liter) and thought a compression check would be in order - = problem is, being merely a prospective owner, I haven't acquired any manuals and = don't know what the compression should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I = don't think, at this point, low compression would change my mind to buy (I'm = already falling hard for this van) but I would like to know what I'm getting into.
