One suggestion was to change the ECU. Although = this is probably the most expensive option, I happen
to have a spare ECU = (the original for my 85 van which we thought was at fault one time but was'nt = when
trying to find a previous problem, the heat sensor). =

Before I switch the ECU, which seems easy enough, = can any one please tell me what to watch out for?
