Just noticed something strange with the high beam headlights on my 88 Westie.  Whilst running through the usual lighting checks I noticed the symptoms listed below:

Engine running/ignition on for all tests:
1.  front & rear parking/side lights all working (switch first position)
2.  low beams working as well as parking lights (switch second position)

THEN

3.  click on high beams with indicator stalk and RIGHT side FRONT LOW BEAM GOES OFF!!!

I have never noticed this before, it could have been this way for quite a while.
