New-to-water 84 Westy owner here. I =
am dropping
the engine in order to remove and replace the exhaust studs on the =
heads. I
know...maybe not completely necessary to drop it, but I am convinced =
it'll save
time and be done right this way. I'm also using this drop as a
"getting-to-know-you" session with my first vanagon. Replacing =
fuel
lines, fixing oil leaks, etc are on the agenda also. Heads and bottom =
end stay
as-is.
Can you experienced folks tell me =
the
"DO'S" and pointers that the manuals dont mention. I have =
Bentley and
Haynes and they are fine. Just finish this sentence maybe:
While the engine is out, also check, =
replace,
repair...
Thanks,
Jay
