powder coat your wheel. Tougher than = any paint. Just sent my master cylinder for for my Norton motocycle to be powder = coated after I saw a guy dump castrol brake fluid on a demo powder coated = bowl made out of sheet metal and let it sit for the day then washed it out = with brake clean(doesn't hurt paint) and wiped it dry no damage to P/C = .
