I use S100 Motorcycle cleaner. Spray on, hose off. You do not need to use a high pressure spray. This stuff works great - and since it is designed to be sprayed on motorcycles, is safe to use on most any surface. Best of all, it does not have any residual smell like many of the other 'engine cleaners' that are sold for automotive use.
