You probably have Ate, which is the same as the = Teves, as I recall.  They're all pretty simple.  Just drive out the pins = and remove the parts.  Good idea to do one side at  a time so you = have a guide.

Subject: Front Brake Pads

I own a 1986 Vanagon that I want to do the = front brake pads on . All I have for a manual is a 1983 Haynes . And it shows the = front brake calipers as being Girling or Teves Style .Now I went to check = which one I have and low and behold it is different, from the one they show in = the book. The question is do I have to make the same choice or is it a = signal style ?
