Hi all,
I've got an '80 Westy deluxe and =
I've been
pondering a few things....well I might as well jsut throw them out and =
see what
you all have to say.
First off, is there any way, in =
'80
westy's, to shut off the battery and water indicator LED's? I've =
seen
switches on later model westy's, but on the few '80 westy's I've been in =
there
is no switch. Just a red LED in the center of the panel where the =
switch
traditionally is.
Secondly....my fridge is missing =
the 10
amp (I think it's 10) fuse...there is just a hole where the fuse
supposedly goes. Is there supposed to be a cover that holds the
fuse? Or does the correct fuse come with a cover or some kind of =
device to
hold it in place. I'd like to fix this problem as I can't run my =
fridge on
12V. Not to add to the great fridge debate of this past week, but =
I don't
feel safe going 60mph with a propane flame 2 feet behind =
me.
Third off...does anyone have a =
spare fuse
panel cover that goes below and to the left of the steering =
cloumn. The
dash has changed from '80 to '82 in slight ways from what I've seen...so =
a cover
from an '80 or '81 will probably fit better.
Well those are all my interior =
problems...I
won't plague you all with the mechanicals....except that I'm probably =
going to
be getting an APV rebuilt engine real soon...I'd love to hear what =
people have
to say about them, both good or bad...and any recomendations that you =
might feel
are a better choice. Thanks.
Peace and a Plethora of Good Grooves,
Aaron (=
'80 westy deluxe named Sunshine
P.S. There's fluries in Mass. tonight...I'm =
looking at
them right now.
