Hi All,

Recently I have been having problems = with my 90 vanagon idling when cold. I must apply gas to get it started but = it will immediately die without me intervening with the gas pedal. =

I am told that the throttle valve = switch can cause a similar problem. I checked and adjusted the switch per the = Bentley but the problem still persist. I "jumped" the connector to simulate a = closed switch and it still died.

The Idle Stablizer Valve seems to be = fine since it "hums and vibrates" like it should.

The wisdom of the List is my last = resort before it makes it's idleless trip to the VW dealer.
