Gerry,

Out of curiosity, would that be Prescott or = Payson?

I have no experience with C'back's svc dept., but = can recommend a little shop about a mile from them.  Import Car = Specialists has done my heads a couple times, and I know they were not too very busy = just last week.  Talk to Jim or Ray.  Tell them Karl sent you.  265-6412.  They have been doing my cars since '72.  They may = work whit your parts, too.  That can save a few bucks.

Nice thing is they are honest.  Goes a long way = for me.

Subject: Camelback VW

Hi All,
There have been occasional  = references to Camelback VW in Phoenix as a good source of parts at reasonable prices = and I have used them, but does anyone have any comments regarding their = service department? I am located in a small town about 90 miles north of = Phoenix and will soon be needing the (in)famous head job
on my '90 Westy with 123k = miles.
Both sides are showing small amounts = of green crud but as of yet, no puddles on the floor and I seldom have to add = coolant. Since this van is my only means of transportation, I need a place that = can do it right but fast, not "oh, about a week or so". I know you get what = you pay for and I don't have a lot of money to spend, but if it will last = another ten years in which I will put far less miles on it than the first ten, I = will be happy and maybe on the other side of the river by then.
Thanks and Merry Christmas to = all,
Jerry
