List addresses
The list has two addresses. It's important to understand the difference between the two:
listserv@gerry.vanagon.com Use this address to send email to the list server. This is the address where you send commands to affect how the server sends you messages. For example, subscribe and unsubscribe commands go to this address. vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com Use this address to send email to everyone on the vanagon mailing list. (Note that you must be a subscriber to send email to this address!) Subscribing

To:listserv@gerry.vanagon.com Subject:(leave this blank) Body:subscribe vanagon your name Where "your name" appears, type in Tom Jones, Brian Yamanaka, or whatever your name may be. Send the message.
