I don't have experience with theses springs personally. Steve Schwenk from the Syncro list had them on his van for a while. Maybe he con comment some more. Hi Folks Im looking at some heavy duty springs for westie 16" syncro, I know there was a list purchase of springs but Ive managed to source some from germany. the only concerns I have are the spring rates quoted and I dont want to make my westie too uncomfortable. The eibach/seikel springs have a 140/120 kg/cm for front and rear resp. The standard springs however are only 75kg/cm so theres a bit of difference there. Peter Seikel assures me that they are ok and he has fitted even heavier ones to vehicles used in the Paris Dakar, but Im not wholly convinced. Did they fit different shocks to the 16? because he mentioned that the standard shocks would be ok if they had the prefix N in the part no. Also has anybody any idea on the unloaded weights on the front and rear of a syncro westie. This is all in preparation for my trip from the UK to Senegal this autumn....... my alauminium sand track just fits perfectly across the front of the roof!!!! Stewart Signol
