Of course you are correct! But the big problem is that the people that is interested in upgrading the Vanagon (I'm talking people that don't know this list) often see the wbx as nothing but a heap of problems, and they decide that it must go faster than fast! Because of this, they don't give the wbx a second thought, and just scrap it. The sad thing is that the same people have no problem trying to haul out 180 hp from a Beetle (the old), without knowing that the wbx is the very same engine.

I must admit I have been thinking about a conversion for my Syncro, but I have new faith in the wbx after Robert Lilley's fine work. Cant wait to get your CD Robert!
