One question remains in my mind. Are these late modle specifications relevant to 2000 modles only or do they as well pertain to earlier manufacturer. Could this specialized lube and procedure produce better results for breakin of remanufactured WasserBoxers or Air Cooled designs??? With updated spezial rings??? Update earlier designs for enhanced technology application??? Factory upgrading of earlier procedures, specifications and designs, if applicable, is definatly DM.

Porsche started factory fill synthetic use several years ago. They studied and experimented with them for 15 years or so before they proved the efficacy of synthetics for their enhanced metalurgies. Remember the 100 hour test?? They just don't jump on applying wizbang except in testing until they prove the benefits and results for mass application.
