You may want to check with David Marshall at Fast Forward (www.fastforward.ca) he is in Canada, and I believe he even has a single or double cab for sale. He has mentioned importing/exporting vehicles to/from Canada several times on the list and may be able to answer your questions.

You may want to seriously look in to what is involved in importing a used single cab from Canada. We have tons of them here. Mind you, we have a lot more double cabs than single cabs, but it just adds to the thrill of the chase. You would not have a problem finding one meeting your specifications, as long as you didn't need it, like, right away. Like any good bus search, it'd prolly take you several months to find one. I don't know what's involved in importation in that direction, but I've brought both my last buses into Canada from california and it's really no big deal as long as you getthe paperwork laid out properly ahead of time.
