Whoa - easy there pardner! I apologize if that seemed sarcastic (it was not
meant to be). It was a light-hearted way of explaining a possible reason
you have not gotten a response. I could have simply ignored it (and your
need). Instead, I had hoped to bring more attention to your plight, and
generate a useful response.
I guess next time I should just ignore it... Good luck on your project.

Brent, appreciate the sarcasm.
But don't treat me like a moron.
Of course I do not expect anyone to dismantle their vehicle to do this!!
There must be someone on the list that has/had or is about to remove a
radiator that could easily do this.
Regards.
John.

John:
The likely reason you aren't getting a response is that it would require
disassembly and removal of the radiator in order to get an accurate
measurement!
While I believe in going out of my way from time to time for the benefit of
the List, I think that most people would agree that pulling the radiator in
order to measure it would be going way beyond the call of duty. :-)
Maybe a list vendor or someone that has one already out can measure for
you...

I am asking this question for the third time, can someone please give me the
dimensions of the Vanagon radiator core?
Its width, lenght and depth as well as how many rows (depth) of cooling
tubes there are. ie is it a 2 core, or 3 core radiator etc.
I obviously do not have one, they are almost impossible to get here in New
Zealand, so I want to use a radiator from another vehicle, making sure the
donor radiator is as close as possible to the original VW.

Can anyone give me the physical dimensions of the Vanagon radiator, inches
or cm, don't mind.
Also the thickness of the Rad and how many rows (depth) of "cooling tubes"
there are.
Thanks
John.
