1st­remove the AFM from the engine 2nd­use a sharp blade to start removing the adhesive around the cover 3rd­turn the unit upside down on a flat surface 4th­use a wide flat blade, (putty knife?) work around the cover while simultaniously pushing down on the cover and using the housing to pull the opposite direction 5th­do this until the cover releases
