When I started the brick this morning, the temp needle rose and pinned itself to the right, triggering the flashing led temp warning light. I knew the engine was cold, so I let it run a couple minutes to see what happened... it stayed up there for two minutes, and then returned to normal operation (needle near the low end of the gauge, rising as the temp rose over the next 5 minutes, to the center). So, the question is this: loose connector or shot sensor? I'll check connections on both ends... Someone mentioned today that with the oil pressure sensor, the open circuit gives a high reading. Is the temp sensor the same?
