Both my power windows occasionally fail to operate from the door switches. Since both door switches (actually 3 counting the double on the driver side) fail concurrently I doubt the switches or their wiring are to blame. Everything else electrical seems to operate during those window failures. However, turning off the keyed ignition switch, then back on (sometimes several times), usually makes the window switches operative again - don't know if this is coincidence or some problem in the ignition switch?. Perhaps a bad power window relay, or thermo fuse for the power windows? Any simple way to check the relay and fuse? Thanks for the help. You folks have already helped me get my 87 Westy back into running condition. Jim Creech Winchester VA
