Finn,

1.) Check the cooling hoses to the trans.  Probably where your coolant
leak is. Might be time to start replacing all the hoses.

2.) OXY and ALT lights coming and staying on indicates that it's a
good time to replace (or at least check) the alternator.  I typically
also replace the starter at the same time as I've found that if I
don't, I will within the next couple of weeks.  Look locally for a
rebuilder.  I have both done for less than $75.

It's easy to check.  Just remove the engine cover and take your
digital voltmeter and measure the voltage at the large terminal on the
front (FIF) of the alternator.  Should  be over 13 volts. (13.8).  If
it's less, it's alternator time.
