My door, bent in a front-end collision by PO has been straightened so all works, except for the window glass rubbing on the white plastic end / guide for the window cable. That guide attaches at the top of the window opening, and should of course be out of the way of the glass. But I don't know what it's position should be to clear and also operate properly -- can't tell even with the door panel off. Before I remove the other door panel to compare, could anyone who knows describe the proper placement? The glass itself seems to be in the proper placement, because it tracks very well all the way up and down. The only problem appears to be the cable guide at the top. Has anyone dealt with this or a similar cable guide problem without removing the motor / cable assembly? Thanks, Jim Creech 87 Westy
