An easy way to get up on the ramps in slippery conditions is to put a floor jack just to the inside of a wheel and jack up that wheel enough to slide the wheel ramp under the tire. Then do the same on the other side. Don't jack up the body, just the wheel. This method is also good for vehicles that do not have enough ground clearance to drive up onto the ramps.
