Ken and the list there was a fellow in the mid west that serviced a fleet of vanagons for a medical business he shared his experiences of this in an article that he sent to limbo some time ago in that article he wrote that the ticking valve was mostly due to the engine coming to rest with the #2 exhaust valve open and the #2 lifter bleeding down over night or longer I don't believe the oil level when parked has anything to do with the lifers loosing there prime and clicking the low oil level may however contribute to the lifters pumping down on the highway one way to reduce gumming up the lifters is to add marvel mystery oil a day or to before an oil change
