Hello people, I was wondering if I should get some kind of curtains with rods or just cover the windows with newspaper ;) j/k anyway I looking for some ideas for my 85 van..

My lovely and beyootiful wife threaded stretch (elastic) cloth straps through curtains she made, and strung the eyelets on the end of the elastic from one coathook to the other. In the after section she strung them from the aft coathooks to the speakers.

For the back window, she bought little adhesive pads with hooks through small eyelets at a craft store, and then made a curtain that would attach to the pads as they were placed in all four corners.

Small pads of velcro attach the bottom of the curtains, when they're deployed, to the interior sides of Fritz, my 1985 GL.

Last, the curtains can be slid to either side, where she has stitched on a small strip of cloth that we wrap around the curtains and then snap to hold the curtains bunched in place.

She also built my deck! What a hottie!
