Zoran, Thanks for the reply. When I removed the handle from the locking mechanism that is mounted in the door, I discovered that it was indeed the handle that was cracked and that is why there was so much slop when operating the handle. The parts had not fallen out; they had just stayed loosely in place. I located a handle locally. I really appreciate your reply and offer to help. Maybe we can all keep these vintage vehicles going a little longer if we all work together. Thanks again. George 84
