I must agree that most aircooled drivers and watercooled drivers tend to stay
with their respective breeds. (Boy, that sounds like a statement from Wild
Kingdom).


Anyway, I own both species. To me VW's are VW's.


VW Trends has been traditionally focused on aircooled. European Car (formerly
VW/Porsche) is more focused towards watercooled cars as far as US
publications are concerned. I suspect that the real reason there is minimal
focus on Vanagons is there just aren't enough Vanagon owners for them to sell
magazines to.


Besides, I don't think I really want to read anything about Vanagons in VW
Trends considering the awful job they did on the "50th Anniversary of the
Bus" issue. You folks must still remember that.
