Yes Chris, I can relate to that.

I parked my bus next to another one at a shopping center here in Sydney. When I came out I found the woman driver of the other bus, her mother and three kids trying to use their key to open my bus. I just stood back and watched their grief for a few moments ( they were really getting upset that the door would not open - how will we get home??? )

Well I then walked over to the little group and pointed them to the rear of my bus and suggested them to try that one.

The poor woman was verysorry, her mother was laughing and the kids were saying something about mum's need for glasses. I told her not to worry her bus was all washed and polished and looked really nice.

There is one thing that Vanagon and bus people have a tendency to do here. They love parking next to other busses. They may not necessarily talk to you even when you're in the vehicle. However, they will usually take the spot next to you even if the parking lot is relatively empty.

i did that once and came out and found parts missing off my bus and the other bus gone....

so i park far away from anyone else now..
