Subject: 85 westy camper towing capacity
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

I have been thinking about getting a small utility trailer to tow behind the camper to carry bikes, luggage, etc. The camper came with a trailer hitch attached. My thought is that I would rather have some of the weight located in a small low profile trailer behind tha van than on top of the van or in the back area behind the seat making it top heavy. Is this a safe idea? What sort of gross trailer weight capacity would be safe? Paul
