Subject: Rare VW Factory Awning/Canopy FS on Ebay
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

Hi Volks:

I have placed a rare Vanagon item up for auction at EBay.

I promise you that you have never seen one of these VW factory-accessory awning/canopies before. I've looked for another - and I don't think there is one!

It was originally delivered in Germany, - as a factory accessory with a brand-new Westfalia - to a Canadian serviceman. I got totally lucky aquiring it - the original owner left a note on my van, asking me if I wanted to buy it!

Feel free to post this to other VW lists, as I'm sure the Type 2 guys will be interested in it as well.

(Thanks Jeff for being the model in the photos!;>))
