These old tanks are often so brittle the mounting ears break, a hole will just drop out and then its off to the salvage yard you go. As a matter of fact you luck at finding a good tank at a salvage yard is pretty slim. As long as you get the tank nice and clean using Dutch Cleanser, Bon Ami or other cleaner that you can scrub gently with the urethane becomes as one with the older plastic. Boy I like that phrase *as one with the older plastic*, hey JB weld I've got a new slogan for you.
