I got one for you guys.

My 85 with 140K wouldn't start, as a matter of fact it wouldn't even crank.  I got the traditional lights on but no cranking.  After consulting the Bible according to Bentley I traced it back to the ignition switch.  I ordered a used one and just unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one without pulling the steering wheel just to see if it worked.  It cranked beautifully, but it wouldn't catch.  I checked the ignition coil resistances, according to Bentley the coil is fine. 

I tested the Hall sensor before I got the new ignition switch and it was fine.  

It could be;
    1). I got a bum ignition switch from the junkyard.
    2). I fried the coil when I was troubleshooting the original problem.
    3). The ignition switch has to be mounted on the steering column to be properly grounded???

Alternatively,  can someone tell me how to hotwire it.  Maybe I can at least get it out of the Walmart parking lot.   :^ (

Any help would be lovely.
