This is not uncommon. Out of spite, these people would rather lose
entirely than let you have it cheap. The Ashburton (NZ) wrecker had a
surplus of Subarus, including turbo Legacys, and they crushed them
complete (none were at all rusty) rather than sell them cheaply!
