Folks,
I came through the base approx. 2 months ago.
No problem then, except they really check your papers (vehicle registration
and drivers license) carefully. Then they issue you a day pass to drive
straight through.
Of course you would only hit the base property if you continue over the
summit and head down the east side towards King City.
