Propane works better than DC, but maybe not as fast to cool as AC. If your fridge works, why use ice? We have gone on two week trips using the fridge and cooking and never ran out of propane.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has use ever made any modifications to simply use the fridge as an ice box still utilizing the convenient shelfs but using ice rather than power. if so, what works the best?
