Yep, when you are in public, you are in public.
When you are in private, you are in private.

If you are in public, you cannot expect any privacy.  How simple.  The
problems start when someone monitors your private spaces against your will.
The problem with Big Brother in '1984' was that he was in your home, and he
took notes.
